If you've wanted a smaller iPhone, the time has come to upgrade—or downgrade? As expected, Apple unveiled the iPhone SE, which is a 4-inch display phone with Apple Pay, enhanced cameras and an A9 processor.

The iPhone SE will cost $399 for 16GB, which is now the cheapest model available. It's also the cheapest price at which Apple has introduced a new phone. Orders for the iPhone SE start March 24 and begin shipping March 31.

The new model will have most of the same capabilities as the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. It even has the "Hey, Siri" feature, which lets you summon the AI without pressing any buttons. The only big feature that's missing—and remains exclusive to the 6S models—is 3D Touch.

The cameras on this new phone will be a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 12-megapixel rear iSight camera that could shoot 4K video.

The iPhone SE will look similar to the iPhone 5S and it'll come in gray, silver, gold and rose gold.

Apple is really pushing smaller products. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is also getting a smaller version, which has a 9.7-inch retina display. The new iPad weighs less than a pound and has a better, brighter display than the iPad Air 2.

The smaller display will also have a new technology called True Tone Display, which adjusts the display based on the color temperature of ambient light. It also supports the iOS 9.3's Night Shift feature that reduces blue-light.

The new iPad Pro will also support the infamous Pencil Stylus and detachable keyboard. Other Pro specs include a 12-megapixel rear camera, an A9X processor and Live Photos support.Apple claims the tablet is powerful enough to replace a user's laptop.
Apple will take orders starting March 24 and begin shipping on March 31. For the first time, Apple will also offer a 256GB storage option, which will cost $899. The cheapest model will cost $599 for 32GB. The tablet will also come in a rose gold color option, aside from the traditional color options: space grey, silver and gold.

However, the biggest announcement for the Apple Watch is that it now starts $299. The original cost started at $349. The tech giant didn't hint at any other updates, but rumor has it that the second generation smartwatch will be unveiled at the September event.
