Honor 9 Lite With Quad Cameras, glass rear panel and 18:9 full view display, launched In India for Rs 10,999; will be available on Exclusive Sale via Flipkart from January 21
The Huawei brand Honor has launched its latest Honor 9 Lite smartphone in India. Honor 9 Lite is the second quad-camera smartphone from Huawei and sports a Dual camera setup on both the front and back.
The smartphone will be available in India in two variants, the 3GB RAM/ 32GB ROM variant for Rs.10,999 and 4GB/ 64GB ROM variants for Rs. 14,999. The Honor 9 Lite smartphone will be available exclusively Honor 9 Lite smartphone and Honor's Online Store.
The main highlights of the Honor 9 Lite are its 13MP + 2MP quad camera setup - two on the front and two at the back. The smartphone sports an all-glass rear panel and runs the company's latest EMUI 8.0, based on Android 8.0 Oreo. Earlier the smartphone was launched in China in December last year, and India is the second market for the Honor 9 Lite.

The Honor 9 Lite will be in India via exclusive sale on Flipkart and Honor’s online store. The flash sale will take place on January 21 at 12am IST (midnight) and will be followed by the second at 12pm (noon) IST on the same day. Following these sales, the two subsequent flash sales of the device will be held on January 22 and 23 at 12 PM(noon).
The smartphone is available in two storage variants. The 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant is priced at Rs 11,999 but will be available with a launch discount of Rs.1,000, for Rs.10,999 and 4GB + 64GB ROM variants is available for Rs. 14,999.
The smartphone is also powered by some AI capabilities. According to the company, the phone can identify whether the subject is male or female and make adjustments to the images captured by its camera accordingly. The phone will be also featuring some upgraded features like Ride Mode and integration with Paytm with subsequent OTA updates.
