OnePlus 5T Release Date:


The OnePlus 5 successor will be available in India via a Flash sale on November 21. The OnePlus 5T smartphone will be exclusively available for sale on and, from November 21 at 4:30 pm. Later on, the OnePlus 5T will be available for sale on both Online and Offline channels.

OnePlus 5T Specification:

After lots of leaks and rumour the OnePlus officials have confirmed some of the features of the OnePlus 5T, like the presence of 3.5mm audio jack and absence of wireless charging. The presence of 3.5 mm headphone jack will make it one of the few flagships that still offers the audio port.


While talking about the wireless charging, the upcoming OnePlus flagship will provide no support for wireless charging that means the users will have to settle for Dash charge fast-charging. According to the company, the current wireless charging pads support a maximum of 15 watts of power, while Dash Charge goes up to 20 watts. Moreover, with wireless charging pads, the phone must be kept on the pad to charge, which means the user cannot use it play games or make calls and simultaneously charging it.

OnePlus 5T Processors and Storage:


If rumours are to be believed the OnePlus 5T will be running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core (4x2.45 GHz Kryo & 4x1.9 GHz Kryo) processor with Adreno 540 GPU and will be available in the two storage variants. The one is coupled with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, while the other upgraded version will have 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

OnePlus 5T Display:


Going by some teaser images and leaks, the OnePlus 5T will sport a bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The OnePlus  5T will feature a 6-inch optic AMOLED display with 2160 x 1080 resolution. The leaks also suggest that the OnePlus 5T will be also lacking the Home Button and Fingerprint sensor on the front.

OnePlus 5T Camera:


If the rumours are to be believed, the OnePlus will come with upgraded Dual camera 20 MP + 20 MP setup of The OnePlus 5 has a dual camera setup with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a larger set of image sensors than what was featured on the OnePlus 5 earlier this year. The rumours also suggest that the OnePus 5T will be featuring the 16MP front selfie camera.

OnePlus CEO Carl Pei recently tweeted a picture with the caption “Cool photo, must have come from a great camera ” This, obviously, set off speculation that the picture came from the upcoming OnePlus 5T. Some leaks suggest the OnePlus 5T will be powered by non-removable 3,500 mAh battery but according to an AnTuTu benchmark, the battery capacity sits at 3,450 mAh, which is a minor bump to 3,300 mAh battery of OnePlus 5.

According to the rumours, the OnePlus 5T will be available at a price of 550 EUR. The company's CEO Pete Lau has hinted that the handset will cost less than CNY 4,000 (approximately Rs. 39,000). This may mean that the upcoming handset may not be priced too high compared to the 8GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 5, though duties and other levies may push the price beyond the Rs. 40,000-mark in India.
