"The Micro X S240 is a tiny Android smartphone that's the size of a credit card"

US-based manufacturer Posh Mobile has launched a new smartphone called the Micro X S240. The phone features a 2.4-inch display, and is being touted as the world's smallest Android smartphone. As per the brand, the X S240 is for those who still love to use a small device in a world that is dominated by phablets. The tiny handset running Android 4.4 KitKat is the size of a credit card.

Despite its size, the Posh Mobile Micro X S240 isn't too small on specs. The phone is powered by a 1.0GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor, aided by 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of expandable storage up to 32GB, a 2MP rear snapper, a VGA front camera, and a 650mAh battery, which the brand promises can deliver four hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time. The device offers 4G LTE along with the regular array of connectivity options.

The Micro X S240 lets you arrange a few of your basic apps on the homescreen like the photo gallery, music, web browser etc. The keyboard on the phone is extremely small, which makes it difficult to type. It is mainly for first time smartphone users, or those who want a decent and tiny backup device. The phone is up for grabs on Amazon in the US for $50 (around Rs 3,300) in a range of attractive hues, including black, white, pink and blue.
