The Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi is repotdly getting ready to introduce the Xiaomi Mi 6X, which is said to be the successor for last year's Xiaomi Mi 5X (launched as Xiaomi Mi A1 in India). Ahead of the launch, the leaked images of the Xiaomi Mi 6X, showing off finished device have surfaced already. 
  

According to the online leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 6X spots the iPhone X-like design. The leaks suggest that Mi 6X spots a vertical dual camera setup on the back and a full-screen display possibly with 18:9 ratio. The Two separate design leaks suggest that the Xiaomi Mi 6X will be available in Black and Gold colour variants.

Xiaomi Mi 6X


The recently leaked images posted on Weibo and spotted by OnPhones, shows the front and back of the phone. The leakes suggest that the Mi 6X borrows the design cues from the Mi 5X. On the front, the leaked images of Xiaomi Mi 6X spots a full-screen display with 18:9 screen ratio. The report also suggests the Mi 6X may come with a 5.99-inch 18:9 display, similar to the Redmi 5 Plus.

On the back, the phone spots a Vertical Dual Rear Camera Setup that resembles the one on the recently launched iPhone X. The leaked images also show a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the back, that was also present on the Mi 5X.

The Xiaomi Mi 6X is said to be the successor of Xiaomi Mi 5X, which was launched as the Mi A1 (in certain markets, including India) ), running stock Android and being a part of the Android One initiative by Google. 


The reports speculate that the Xiaomi could showcase the Mi 6X at MWC 2018 next month. The reports also suggest that the Mi 6X may make its debut sometime in March-April time frame. The reports also point that the phone may launch for markets like India later this year.


As per Internal specs are considered there are no leaks but it is believed the Mi 6X might be powered by Xiaomi's leaked Surge S2 processor. This processor features an octa-core processor, with four cores of Cortex-A73 clocked at 2.2GHz, and four cores of Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.8GHz. The processor is said to have a Mali G71 MP8 graphics processor, and support for LPDDR4 RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.


Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also looking forward to its premium flagship smartphone Mi 7. It is believed that the Xiaomi Mi 7 will be competing with the likes of the iPhone X and Galaxy S9 in the premium smartphone market.

The Mi 7 is expected to make its global debut next month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in late February. The phone is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor and come with a 6-inch bezel-less display and dual cameras on the back.
