In an Event hosted in New Delhi the Chinese smartphone giant, Xiaomi introduced its two new smartphones Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Redmi Note 5 predecessor Redmi Note 4 was one of Xiaomi’s top-selling smartphones in India. Now the Chinese giant has introduced the Redmi Note 5, with incremental upgrades to keep up with the latest trends, without breaking the price barrier.
The Redmi Note 5 features a 5.99-inch bezel-less, 18:9 aspect ratio full-view display with a massive 4000mAh battery. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 5 Pro makes its global debut with Snapdragon 636 and is the first device with Snapdragon 636 processor. The Redmi Note 5 pro is coupled with 6GB RAM and features a dual rear camera setup. Both Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 pro are available in four colour options.
Along with the Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 pro Xiaomi also unveiled the world's thinnest LED TV - Mi TV 4 (55) at the event. The Mi TV 4 is priced at Rs 39,999 in India.

Redmi Note 5 is the upgraded version of the Xiaomi's one of the top-selling smartphones Redmi Note 4. The Redmi Note 5 has been launched with the upgraded design, camera and quality. The Redmi Note 5 features a 5.99-inch nearly bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels.
The Redmi Note 5 will be running on the Snapdragon 625 processor. The phone will be available in the storage variants - 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The phone is packed with a powerful 4,000mAh battery and is available in four colour options - Lake Blue, Rose Gold, Black, and Gold colour.
The Redmi Note 5 comes with a 12-megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.25-micron pixel size, PDAF, and a dual-tone LED flash. On the front, the phone has a 5MP selfie camera with LED flash.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is making a global debut with Snapdragon 636 processor and is the first device with Snapdragon 636 processor. The Redmi Note 5 Pro features a dual camera setup on the back with 12MP primary and 5MP secondary sensors. On the front the phone spot a 20MP selfie shooter with Portrait mode and LED flash.
The phone is packed with 64GB internal storage and will be available with two RAM variants - 4GB and 6GB. the phone also gets a Face Unlock feature and is the first Xiaomi phone to get Face Unlock feature. The Note 5 pro is also available in four colour options - Lake Blue, Black, Rose Gold and Gold colour.
Mi TV 4 specifications:
The Mi TV 4 sports a frameless design, and is integrated Mi TV Bar with 10 speakers, 2 wireless rear satellite speakers, and a subwoofer. The Connectivity options available include WiFi, BT 4.0, Ethernet, and more.

All the three Xiaomi products - Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro and Mi TV 4 will be available through online flash sale via Flipkart and Mi.com. The first sale will be held on February 22.
Redmi Note 5 price: The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 price will be available at starting price of Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant, and the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will be available for Rs. 11,999.
Redmi Note 5 Pro price: The Redmi Note 5 Pro will be available at the staring price of Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM variant and the 6GB RAM variant will be available for Rs. 16,999.
Mi TV 4 Price: The Mi TV 4 (55) will be available for Rs 39,999 in India.
